We do need your child to be at registration in order to be sized. For practice cheerleaders can just wear any cotton t shirt and shorts. You will also need to turn in a refundable deposit check for the uniform, at the first practice. The fee also includes one free practice tee shirt and one pair of shorts. We have combined items such as the registration fee, fundraising requirements and various other expenses, to determine the “Cheerleader Fee” (see cheerleader fee breakdown).Ĭheerleaders will need our Cheer shoes, warm up suit and some other “cheer related” items. We will be sure to send new coaches to training so they are up to par with the rules and expectations of cheerleading in the competitive world. We are also interested in adding some coaches to our program, so if you or someone you know is interested, please contact me. You can participate as much or as little as you feel comfortable with. This year we hope to encourage more parent involvement, with a program FOR the parents to join. Much like a PTA or Boosters club at school. With your cooperation we can all be at our best! Please communicate any concerns before they become an issue and know we will do our best to address them as fair as possible. We all receive coach skills training as well as CPR, first aid and concussion training – however, we aren’t professionals and appreciate your understanding and respect as we do our best to keep your child safe and their team successful, all while they have a great experience. Most of us are/were cheer parents just like you and jumped in to make a positive impact in the program and the community.
